This first draft set the shape language and proportions of the user interface.

Setting the UI theme/metaphor, the content area, interactive elements and background.

First color pass using the color of the Clone Wars ships.

Version of the mock-up in which we defined the window shape and freed the background from graphic elements. This helped to make it less busy.

Final mock-up of the Start Screen with the close button attached to the window and a progress bar in the content area.

Our goal on creating the user interface for Clone Wars Adventures was to have a playful and unique user interface that was visually related to the animated series.  In this way we studied the shape language of the TV show and transfer it to the UI.

We started with the "Start Screen" as it displays both graphic and textual information and it is the gate through players enter a minigame.
